AI Limit: All Endings Guide and How to Get Them

Image Credit(s): Sense Games, AI Limit

Look, AI Limit doesn’t mess around with its endings. You’ve got three of them, and one of them blocks the other two. If you want to see them all in one playthrough, you’ll need a little planning and a couple of save backups. Or just be chill with doing it three times. Either way, here’s the breakdown.

AI Limit Ending 1: The End of Childhood

This is the one you get if you kind of ignore Delpha’s garden dreams.

  • Beat Loskid and then actually talk to her.

  • She gives you the Golden Branch, and that’s it—you’re locked into this ending.

  • Walk through the portal, beat Aether, the Father, and boom: Doomsday with humanity.

This ending also locks you out of completing Delpha’s quest, so don’t even bother planting seeds if you're headed here.

AI Limit Ending 2: Boundless Stars

This is the "sure, let's trust the weird star gods" ending.

  • Fully finish Delpha’s questline (more on that below).

  • Give him the Living Seed (you get this by beating Ursula, the Mutated in the Ancient Machine Works).

  • He moves to the Arboretum and plants the Azure Branch.

  • Go through all the fancy tree unlocks and reach Elysium.

  • Beat Aether again.

  • This time, say “Accept the Invitation” when the Sphere Gods ask you to join them.

Congrats, you’re in space now.

AI Limit Ending 3: Second Dawn

The “good but also mysterious and dramatic” ending.

  • Do everything from the Boundless Stars ending.

  • But also finish Shirley’s questline and give her the Nameless Flower (Delpha hands it over once the Azure Branch is grown).

  • After you beat Aether, choose “Decline the Invitation.”

  • You’ll unlock a secret boss: Charon, the Nurturer.

  • Beat them, and this is your “true” ending.

How to Get All 3 Endings in 1 Playthrough (with Save Backups)

  1. Get Stone’s and Feylia’s help during their boss fights. These can’t be redone after.

  2. Finish every NPC quest up to the Path of Epitome.

  3. Don’t give Delpha the Living Seed yet.

  4. Beat Loskid, don’t talk to her. Save your game.

  5. If you’re going for all endings now:

    • Talk to Loskid, get Golden Branch → Beat final boss → Get The End of Childhood.

    • Reload your save, finish Delpha’s stuff.

    • Go to Courtyard of the Tree, unlock Elysium, and save again at Gate of the Sphere.

    • Choose “Accept” → Get Boundless Stars.

    • Reload → Give Shirley the Nameless Flower → Choose “Decline” → Fight Charon → Get Second Dawn.

What to Skip in NG+

If you’re doing second or third playthroughs:

  • Skip Shirley, Vikas, and Assis on the second one.

  • Skip everyone on the third one except for doing The End of Childhood again.

  • Still help Stone and Feylia if you want easier boss fights.

Final Blurb

AI Limit’s endings make you work for it, and they really want you to feel the consequences. One choice gives you hope, another gives you cosmic mystery, and one just... ends things. If you’re saving scumming your way through all three, hey, no judgment. The real boss fight is trying not to overwrite the wrong save.
