Blueprints save a lot of setup time once you know where they live and how sharing works. The system is simple, but the game barely explains it.
Where Saved Blueprints Are Found
Saved blueprints are accessed from the Build Menu.
Open the Build Menu and look at the left side panel. There is a tab labeled Blueprints. This tab shows every blueprint you have saved.
The Restore Last Blueprint option only restores the most recent copy. It does not open your full blueprint list.
How to Save a Blueprint Correctly
Saving a blueprint requires confirming the copy first.
You must follow the exact order or the save key does nothing.
Enter Blueprint mode
Select everything you want included
Press F to confirm and create a copy
Press H to save the blueprint
Name the blueprint when prompted
If you skip the confirm step, H will not appear.
How to Place a Saved Blueprint
Placing a blueprint is done from the same Build Menu.
Open the Build Menu. Select the Blueprints tab. Click the blueprint you want and place it like any other build item.
There is no separate hotkey list or scroll menu.
Sharing Blueprints With Other Players
Blueprints can be shared on PC.
Blueprints are saved as .af files inside the game folder. One player can send the file to another, and the receiving player places it into their own blueprints folder.
Once added, the blueprint appears in the Build Menu automatically.
For finding, sharing, and downloading community blueprints, the easiest option is to join the official Discord server. Many players post optimized layouts there, and sharing files is much faster than searching manually.
