Here’s how to get all permanent upgrades in Blue PRince and what they do.
Apple Orchard – More Steps, Less Stress
+20 Steps Daily
Go west of the manor to the Campsite and find the locked Apple Orchard gate. Punch in the code 1128, and boom—an extra 20 steps every single day. No ghosts. No mazes. Just fruit and walking privileges.
Gemstone Cavern – Daily Gem Drop
+2 Gems at the Start of Each Day
This one’s hidden in the Utility Closet. Interact with the Breaker Box and press the colored circles in this order:
Gray → Blue → Green → White → Red → Purple
If the wall opens behind you, congrats. You now wake up every morning two gems richer. The American dream.
Blackbridge Grotto – Offline Terminal Access
Use One Offline Terminal Per Day
This one's a doozy. First, activate power in the Boiler Room. Then, redirect that power toward unopened rooms until you find the Laboratory. Solve the Periodic Table riddle ("Push Three Up After Nine"), pull Lever 9, then Lever 3.
That unlocks Blackbridge Grotto, where you get your shiny offline terminal perk. Worth the trouble? Eh, ask your next floorplan.
West Gate – More Room Variety
Unlocks the West Gate, Adds Rooms Daily
Another one that starts with the Utility Closet. Use it to power up the Garage, then head to the Garage and hit the opener. Go outside, hang a left, follow the path, and pop open the West Gate.
Now more rooms get added each day. Which ones? That’s between you and the room gods.
Trading Post – Daily Coin Delivery
+2 Gold Coins Every Morning
After unlocking the West Gate, backtrack toward the bridge. Cross it, and find a door leading to the Trading Post. Solve the cube puzzle inside (yes, there’s a puzzle), and you’ll start each day with an envelope of cash waiting for you like you’re on some weird birthday loop.
Bonus: Room Upgrades with Disks
Upgrade Disks → Terminals → Room Buffs
These are rare and random, but they’re powerful. Pick up an Upgrade Disk, then plug it into a Terminal. You’ll get to choose a permanent buff tied to a specific room.
Some examples:
Courtyard: +2 Gems
Spare Room: Get a Sledge Hammer when drafting
Storage Room: Maybe slightly less useless
Each run gives different choices. There's no wrong answer—unless you pick the Bunk Room.
