If you’ve wandered out into the yard behind the manor and found a locked fence near the campsite, congratulations—you’ve found the Orchard. Now comes the fun part: opening it.

Where to Find the Orchard Fence
Exit the house through the front door and follow the path left. Head through the open gate toward the Private Drive, and you’ll see a split in the road. Take the right path before the closed gate, walk past Simon’s Campsite, and head up the hill. You’ll reach a small white gate with a four-digit lock—that’s the Orchard Gate.
But the game doesn’t just hand you the code.
How to Find the Orchard Fence Code
To get the combo, you’ll need three things:
A Darkroom
A Utility Closet (with power access)
A Magnifying Glass
Once you've placed the Darkroom, go to the Utility Closet and flip the breaker to turn the Darkroom’s power on. With the power on, enter the Darkroom and use the Magnifying Glass on a photo of the Orchard pinned up on the wall.
Look closely at the tree in the photo. There’s a heart carved into the bark—and inside that heart is a date.
Orchard Fence Code
The code you’re looking for is: 1128
This code never changes between playthroughs. Once you’ve seen it, you can head back to the Orchard gate and enter 1-1-2-8 from top to bottom on the padlock. It’ll open, permanently unlocking the Orchard for future runs.
What’s in the Orchard?
Inside the Orchard, you’ll find:
The Gardener’s Logbook, which has hints about green rooms and soil types
A Gas Valve that lights one of the mysterious blue flames near the manor entrance
That flame is important if you’re trying to reach the deepest parts of the Underground, so don’t skip it.
Final Blurb
The Orchard may look like a peaceful grove, but it hides one of the earliest permanent buffs in the game. Unlocking it doesn’t just feel satisfying—it bumps up your step count from 50 to 70 every day. And in Blue Prince, that’s the difference between reaching something interesting... or just running out of time by the compost bin.
