Blue Prince: Secret Passage Room Guide

The Secret Passage is one of the sneakiest utility rooms in Blue Prince. It looks like a simple dead-end, but for 1 Gem, it lets you choose the color of the next room you’ll draft. No guessing or RNG, just pick a color and open the path.

What the Secret Passage Does
Costs 1 Gem to draft
After entering, you’ll get to choose a room color:
Red
Green
Yellow
(Blue is not selectable)
The next room you draft will be from that chosen color
It’s a Hallway that’s also a Dead-End, so place carefully
Think of it as a color-coded steering wheel for your floorplan.
Why It’s Useful
It lets you force specific room types, great for puzzle-solving or loot planning
Helps complete color-based chains or spread effects (like with the Patio, Veranda, or Prism Key)
Saves you from gambling on the draft pool when you need a Red Room puzzle or a Green Room vault
Great in late-game runs where one room color unlocks major objectives
It's especially strong when paired with tools that trigger based on room color.
Final Blurb
The Secret Passage doesn’t look like much, but it's one of the few rooms in Blue Prince that gives you control instead of pure RNG. For the price of 1 Gem, you get to steer your run in the direction you actually want to go. It's like bribing the mansion to play fair for once.
