Call of Duty Black Ops 6 DLC: Potential New Multiplayer and Zombies Maps

While there aren’t any confirmed details for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 DLC as of this moment, passionate fans online and the community are already speculating about the possible downloadable content (DLC) that may be included. Based on past trends and discussions, there are several interesting ideas floating around regarding what maps and content might be introduced in the next installment.

Speculated Multiplayer Maps

  1. Nuketown (Futuristic Update)
Nuketown has been a recurring favorite in the Black Ops series, and many believe it will make a return in Black Ops 6, possibly even with a new futuristic or dystopian look. Every version of Nuketown has brought something of a new twist, and players are expecting something new this time. Hopefully they’re right.

  2. Firing Range
Another iconic multiplayer map that’s expected to return is Firing Range. If Black Ops 6 sticks with the formula of updating historically favorite maps, Firing Range could get a facelift with some improved visuals as well.

  3. Summit Reimagined
Streamers have been speculating about Summit with some potential leaks, a map known for its high-altitude setting and close-quarters combat. A potential redesign could fit with the direction this game has taken, whether that’s a futuristic, Cold War, or new thematic setting that offers familiar yet different gameplay (especially when you consider the new movement and how it may affect things).

  4. New Cold War Settings
Given the history of the Black Ops series, there’s been quite a bit of chatter about new maps set in notable Cold War locations like East Berlin, Soviet-era bunkers, or covert battle zones across jungles or war-torn cities. These settings would be great for some variety, from tight urban environments to larger, more open battlefields.

Speculated Zombies Maps

  1. Kino der Toten Remaster
A fan-favorite Zombies map, Kino der Toten, has been at the top of the community’s wishlists for years and WE BEG that it comes back. There’s a good chance this classic could return according to developer leaks and rumors, especially considering the success of past remasters.

  2. Dark Aether Expansion
It looks like Black Ops 6 might be building upon the Dark Aether storyline, bringing new maps that continue to take us down into the darker aspects of the storyline. These maps could take players to eerie, otherworldly places affected by this dimension, and quite frankly we hope they do!

  3. Die Maschine Sequel
The map Die Maschine was a huge hit in the previous game, and many believe that Black Ops 6 might bring a follow-up map or storyline that expands on it. The possibility of learning more about the crazy experiments and their connection to the Dark Aether could take us all on a wild ride, and personally, I’m all for an expansion on the game’s lore.

  4. Ancient Egypt Map
There’s been ongoing speculation about a possible Egyptian temple or tomb map for Zombies mode, something that would bring us to an entirely new setting for the mode. Players would battle the undead amidst crypts and hidden chambers (with really cool Egyptian themes like mummies), solving puzzles and unlocking secrets while having to deal with dangerous tomb traps.

Other Potential DLC Content

  1. Battle Royale Map Updates
It is almost certain that Black Ops 6 will expand upon the battle royale version of the game, Warzone, the DLC could introduce new zones for players to fight in. Ideas being discussed include Cold War-era bunkers, futuristic cities, or abandoned military installations and old maps included around the outer edges.

  2. Seasonal Event Maps
Some developers have mentioned that seasonal event maps, especially for Zombies, could become a regular feature. For example, a Halloween-themed Zombies map could appear during the fall season, with haunted environments like ghost towns or spooky asylums. My personal hope is that they set us down in Santa’s workshop with zombie elves.

Again, while all of this remains speculation based upon rumors and details that we could find online, these ideas are really just a culmination of what fans of this historical franchise hope to see in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Based on what we know, it’s pretty likely we’ll see a mix of classic maps remastered alongside new content, and until official announcements are made, the community will continue to go crazy about what’s to come in the future DLC.
