New UI and Features

In Black Ops 6, players will experience an updated Call of Duty user interface. Previously referred to as Call of Duty HQ, this new UI will streamline things with three main hubs: Home, All Games, and Store. The Home tab will have current game titles, including Black Ops 6 and Warzone, giving players direct access to their most recent games and bringing to the forefront new content like playlists and Battle Passes. The All Games tab lets players manage their library of Call of Duty titles, and the Store tab has access to the in-game store for purchasing additional content.

This UI overhaul is essentially meant to give players faster, more intuitive access to the content they want to play.

Game Modes and Features

Black Ops 6 will launch with three core modes:

  1. Campaign: A spy-thriller narrative set during the Gulf War era. Players will follow iconic characters like Frank Woods in an intense storyline filled with political intrigue and high-stakes missions.

  2. Multiplayer: Players will battle across 16 maps, including 12 designed for 6v6 gameplay and 4 Strike Maps. The movement system, dubbed Omnimovement, allows for greater agility and strategic play, while an arsenal of 12 confirmed weapons gives players plenty of options to customize their loadouts.

  3. Zombies: The fan-favorite Zombies mode returns with two maps at launch, Terminus Island and Liberty Falls. The Zombies experience will feature GobbleGums, customizable loadouts, and a mix of new features like Mutant Injections, providing players with special power-ups.

Post-Launch and Season 01 Content

The excitement doesn’t stop at launch. Season 01, which is set to roll out shortly after release, will bring additional content, including a third Zombies map, expanded Battle Pass functionality, and more. Players can expect consistent updates, keeping Black Ops 6 relatively fresh well into the following year.

With its various gameplay modes, exciting new features, and community-driven updates, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is poised to be one of the biggest releases of the year (as most of them tend to still be). Whether you’re in it for the Campaign’s storyline, the fast-paced Multiplayer action, or the thrill of battling Zombies, there’s something for everyone who likes a good FPS.
