Conquest Dark: All Classes Guide

Conquest Dark gives you five starting classes. Each one has its own abilities, weapons, and playstyle. Your build will change quickly during every run, but knowing what each class can do helps you get off to a strong start.

Here’s a basic guide to help get you started and choose a class to play.

Barbarian

Role

Melee, crowd control

Starting Ability

Leap Smash (confirmed)

Other Confirmed Abilities

Seismic Slam (area damage)
Primal Roar (damages enemies and heals you for each enemy hit)

Weapons

Swords, axes, spike balls

Playstyle

The Barbarian jumps into fights and crushes groups with big AoE attacks. You can even heal yourself by smashing through enemies with Primal Roar.


Hunter

Ranged DPS

Sample Abilities

Snipe Shot (long-range high damage)
Volley (area of effect damage)
Piercing Arrows

Weapons

Bows, arrows, ranged

Playstyle

The Hunter stays at a distance and uses ranged attacks to pick off enemies. Kiting and staying mobile is key.


Thief

Fast melee and ranged hybrid

Ability Samples

Fan of Knives (throws piercing daggers)
Quick Strike (extra attacks and energy generation)
Shadow Strikes (multi-target lunar damage)
Blade Dash (dash attack that adds dodge charges)

Weapons

Daggers, throwing knives, scimitars

Playstyle

The Thief is built for fast attacks and mobility. You can switch between melee and ranged using knives and abilities while staying hard to hit.


Oathkeeper

Hybrid offense and defense

Ability Samples

Hammer of Soul (throwing hammer)
Sacred Hammer (spinning hammers)
Sigil of Flames (burning chains)
Shield Charge (dash and stun enemies)
Divine Purge (burning attack)

Weapons

Blunt weapons, shields

Playstyle

The Oathkeeper mixes melee strikes, ranged throwing weapons, and burning effects. You can block, burn, and outlast enemies.


Acolyte of Kuu

Role

Magic and battlefield control with corrupted magic

Ability Samples

Cosmic Ray (ranged lunar damage)
Ice Shard
Frostfall
Freezing Vortex (freeze enemies nearby)
Arcane Orbs (spinning, exploding orbs)
Teleport (regenerates barrier and moves you)

Weapons

Staves, one-handed magic weapons

Playstyle

The Acolyte of Kuu uses ranged magic attacks and barrier defense. You can freeze enemies, control crowds, and reposition easily with Teleport.
