Crimson Desert How To Store Items: What Actually Works

Crimson Desert How To Store Items: What Actually Works

Inventory fills up fast in Crimson Desert, and the game does a terrible job explaining what you can do about it. There is no normal storage system, so you have to use a few workarounds to manage your items.

How To Store Items In Crimson Desert

You cannot store items in chests, houses, or mounts, the only way to “store” items is by using vendors temporarily or increasing your inventory space.

That is the current system right now.

Using Vendors As Temporary Storage

This is the closest thing to real storage, but it comes with a catch.

You can sell items to vendors and then buy them back later.

  • Sell items to any vendor

  • Open the Repurchase or Buyback tab

  • Rebuy your items when you need them

There are a couple important limits.

  • Items stay there for about 2 to 3 in game days

  • You sell low and buy back at a higher price

  • Items can disappear if you wait too long

This is only good as a short term storage trick, not something you rely on long term.

Expanding Inventory Is Your Main “Storage”

Since there is no stash system, your inventory is your storage.

The best thing you can do is increase your capacity as much as possible.

  • Buy Small Bags from vendors

  • Complete quests that reward Medium Bags

  • Keep upgrading your inventory whenever possible

More slots makes the game feel way less restrictive.

What Does NOT Work As Storage

A lot of things look like storage, but they are not usable.

  • Houses and furniture

  • Chests in the world

  • Your horse or mount inventory

None of these let you store normal items right now.

Final Blurb

Crimson Desert does not have a real storage system yet, so you have to work around it. Vendors can hold items short term, and inventory upgrades are your main solution. Until a proper stash gets added, managing space is just part of the game.
