Eternity Egg Controls Guide

Eternity Egg Controls Guide

Eternity Egg uses a mix of parkour-style movement, quick attacks, and timing-based actions. The controls are simple once you get used to chaining them together, and mastering them is the key to finishing each level smoothly.

Basic Movement

The most important button is Space. Hold Space to bunny hop and build momentum across the floor. Each hop keeps you moving faster, so stay in rhythm when crossing open areas.

The Tab key is used for dashing. Tap it to lunge forward on the ground or in the air. When used midair, it acts as a short boost that doesn’t drain as much stamina as a full attack. You can combine it with your air attack for fast traversal by chaining click, tab, click, tab to glide across gaps or speed through open paths.

Combat Controls

Left click is your main attack.

  • Tap it for a quick strike

  • Hold it for a longer, stronger lunge

The attack can be used both on the ground and in midair. A short click gives a quick hit, while holding lets you surge forward for a longer leap. It’s also how you trigger most wall runs and combos later in the level.

Right click is your block. Use it to negate incoming damage completely. Timing it right can keep you alive in tougher fights, especially when facing groups of enemies.

Wall Running and Climbing

Wall movement combines several keys together. To run or climb a wall, use the left and right mouse buttons together.

For a wall run, press left click, then right click while looking at the wall. To climb, do the same combo but hold W as you go. You can let go of left click quickly after pressing it to get smoother motion.

If you want to run sideways, face the direction you want to go, then repeat the combo. The direction you’re looking at the wall determines which way you’ll move. Mastering this makes parkour sections much easier.

Advanced Movement Tricks

Tab can also be used to chain with hops and bounces. Some levels have spring-like platforms or mushrooms that boost you higher when timed right with a dash. Try combining bunny hops, attacks, and tab lunges to keep your speed consistent.

Final Blurb

The controls in Eternity Egg focus on flow and timing. Space keeps your rhythm, left click drives your movement, right click saves your life, and tab keeps your momentum alive. Once you learn to mix them together, you’ll move through every level like it was second nature.
