Step 1: Retrieve the Blood Flame Relic
Travel to Talju and head to the Vanderlyn Trust building. Inside, locate the immolated corpse of Lamit Gantt. Search the body to acquire two items: the Blood Flame relic and the smuggler’s route map. Both are required to move forward.
Step 2: Unlock the Ruins in Senedra Forest
With the Blood Flame relic in hand, head to Senedra Forest. There you’ll find a sealed door in the ancient ruins. Use the relic to unlock the door. Inside you’ll discover the trapped woman, completing the rescue portion of this Good Deed.
Step 3: Deliver the Smuggler’s Map
After freeing the woman, you still need to deal with the smuggler’s route map. Take it to either Yohan or Dolo to finish the quest. Choosing who to give it to does not change the outcome of freeing the woman, but it finalizes the Forlorn Fate Good Deed.
Important Note
This Good Deed is missable. You must complete it before obtaining the third keystone. If you progress too far in the story without finishing it, the quest becomes locked out.
