Finding all three Cogheart Pieces in Hollow Knight Silksong can be confusing since they’re spread across hidden areas in Pharloom. Many players stumble around Cogwork Core or the Memorium without realizing how the pieces connect. This guide shows every Cogheart Piece location, how to reach them, and where to place the completed Cogheart once assembled.

All Cogheart Piece Locations

Cogheart Piece 1 – Secret Archives

The first Cogheart Piece is found in the Secret Archives. Progress through the chamber until you reach the upper platforms. Inside a tucked-away alcove sits the fragment. You’ll need Cling Grip to scale the walls here safely.

Cogheart Piece 2 – Choral Chambers

The second Cogheart Piece is located in the Choral Chambers. Before the path that leads toward the Slab, climb to the room above. Clear out enemies in this vertical shaft, and you’ll spot the fragment near the top ledge. Double jump makes this section easier, but careful wall hopping also works.

Cogheart Piece 3 – Memorium in Cogwork Core

The final Cogheart Piece is hidden in the Memorium, a secret zone branching off to the right of the elevator in Cogwork Core. Entering requires precise platforming and the Clawline to cross gaps. Inside, defeat waves of Pilgrim enemies before you can claim the piece.

What To Do With The Cogheart

Once you’ve collected all three pieces, return to the Cogwork Core. Near the local bench, drop down, take the first left, and climb into the locked chamber that requires double jump. Here lies the broken automaton that accepts the Cogheart. When restored, the automaton awakens, speaks briefly, and then leaps away.

This sets up a later encounter, rumored to be a boss fight deeper in Pharloom.

Tips To Complete The Cogheart Quest

Bring at least one Silk refill item before exploring the Memorium, since the platforming and fights can be punishing without healing chances. Clearing enemies beforehand in the Choral Chambers and Cogwork Core will make repeated attempts easier.

The quest is not optional; completing the Cogheart assembly progresses key story elements tied to automaton lore.
