RuneScape: Dragonwilds isn’t just a solo trek through dragon-infested ruins (thankfully). You can bring your friends along for the fun, or go it alone if you don’t feel like sharing resources. Or chickens.
Here’s how many players can play together in RuneScape: Dragonwilds and how it all works.

Max Player Count/Party Size in Dragonwilds
You can play solo or with up to 4 players total in one world. That includes:
You, the future dragon-slayer, and up to three heroic friends, who may or may not accidentally burn down your camp trying to cook meat.
Whether you’re hunting dragons or building cottages, you can share the same world and work together—or split tasks and let someone else do all the mining while you focus on fashioning your base with matching roof slopes.
Can You PvP Your Friends?
Kind of. There’s a friendly fire toggle when creating a world, which lets you turn on experimental PvP. It’s janky and not balanced for serious duels yet, but yes—if you want to test who’s really the better tank or ranger, you can brawl it out.
What About Public Worlds?
You can make a world public or private when setting it up. Public worlds show up in the browser for anyone to join, while private ones can be limited by a password—so randoms don’t show up and use all your flax.
Will the Player Limit Increase?
The devs haven’t confirmed anything yet, but they’ve said they're open to feedback and expanding features over time. A higher player cap might come with dedicated servers in a future update.
Final Blurb
So yeah—one to four (1-4) players per world for now. Enough to build a team, split the workload, or just yell at someone else to carry the stone blocks. Whether you're a solo skiller or a squad builder, Dragonwilds has room for your kind.
