How to Capture the Beetle in Revenge of the Savage Planet

The Beetle is one of the first aggressive creatures you’ll run into on Stellaris Prime, and it does not come in peace. It charges, it flips, and it doesn’t wait around for introductions. If you're just swinging your whip at it blindly, you’re gonna have a bad time. Here’s how to capture it the right way.
Step 1: Find the Beetle
Beetles usually show up in early exploration zones on Stellaris Prime. They roam in open spaces and are hard to miss once they start charging at you full-speed like a space bulldozer.
Step 2: Spot the Weakness
The Beetle’s weak point is on its back end. Not subtle, but effective.
You’ll need to bait it into charging
Then quickly dodge to the side
While it’s flipped or momentarily exposed, aim and shoot its butt (seriously)
Hitting the weak spot will stun the Beetle, which gives you a short window to capture it.
Step 3: Capture with the Whip
Once the Beetle is stunned:
Lasso it with your Proton Whip
Hold the button and don’t take damage
After a few seconds, the vortex will pull it in
If you take a hit during this moment, the process resets. So give yourself some space before reeling it in.
Bonus Tip: Deal With Friends First
Sometimes Beetles show up in pairs or near Fecal Beetles (same thing, but with a poop shell). If that happens, take out the extra threats first. You don’t want to get headbutted mid-capture.
