How to Get the Egg in Deltarune Chapter 3

The Chapter 3 Egg is one of the weirdest secrets in the game, and yes, it’s completely missable. You’ll need to clear puzzles, lie to a strange NPC, and survive a whole detour into a hidden area called Forgotten Isle just to get your hands on it.

Here’s how to do the entire thing and get the egg step-by-step.

Clear the TV World Quizzes First

You’ll start this journey in the place with TVs; the room packed with monitors and enemies like Shadowguy. You need to complete every quiz on the TVs in this area.

Once they’re all cleared, a hidden door will appear. Head inside.

Beat the Block Puzzle With Susie

This takes you into a block-throwing minigame near a river. Use Susie’s ACT to throw a block through a bush gap on the opposite bank. That’s all you need to do for now.

Continue through the Green Room until you meet a strange NPC in a suspicious hallway.

Say You’re a Cheater Going “Nowhere”

When the NPC stops you and accuses you of cheating, pick “Cheater” when prompted.

Next, he’ll ask where you’re going. Choose “Nowhere.” He’ll act like that’s what he expected, and send you to a new place.

Solve the Bridge Puzzle Again

Now you’re back by the river, but on the other side. Push the block you threw earlier onto a pedestal. This lets you cross the bridge and press the red button on the far side.

Doing this unlocks the final path.

Talk to the Screen Guy Until He Cracks

You’ll find an NPC standing in front of a large black screen. Keep talking to him again and again. He’ll keep saying things like “Can’t find the ticket?” but don’t stop.

Eventually, he’ll say the trip ticket is in the wardrobe, and a wardrobe will appear behind him. Grab the ticket.

Go to the Dumpster and Meet Ribbick

Return to the Green Room and go through the warp door leading to Goulden Sam. In this area, you’ll see several dumpsters. Check the one with both lids closed to find a Ribbick inside.

Start the fight and go to ACT.

Hold Left to Enter Forgotten Isle

Don’t pick any of the options with red X’s. Instead, hold the left arrow key on the ACT menu. This sends you to a secret area called Forgotten Isle.

Explore until you find a big tree. Go behind it to speak with a mysterious NPC.

Choose the Right Dialogue

Talk to the figure behind the tree. Some say that your choices don’t matter and you get the egg no matter what, and others recommend this path to be safe and get the egg:

“Will you forget me, too?” → No
“I ask again, will you forget me?” → No
“Once upon a time, the whole world looked like this. Do you think so?” → Yes
“Do you understand what I am saying?” → Yes
“Did you want to meet again?” → Yes
“Did you remember to write it down?” → Yes

If you answered correctly, you’ll be given the Chapter 3 Egg.

Where to Use the Egg

The Egg doesn’t do much that we know of. It will vanish when you start Chapter 4, just like the eggs from earlier chapters.
