How to Revive, Heal, & Respawn Players in PEAK (the Game)

Written by Jason B.

To revive your teammate in the game PEAK, the climbing game, you need to find a temple/altar or use effigies, and to heal them you have a few options.

Here’s how it all works.

PEAK Respawn/Reviving

Temples at the Top

At the top of each region, you’ll usually find a temple. These also allow you to bring your teammates back.

  • Altars Near Campfires

    • When you reach a checkpoint or campfire, look nearby for an altar. Interact with it to revive your entire team.

On-the-Go Effigies

You can find single-use effigies while exploring. These let you revive one teammate on the spot without needing a checkpoint.

PEAK Healing Methods

There are a few ways to heal in PEAK while climbing, but none of them are direct. You won’t be spamming medkits mid-air. Instead, you’ll need to rely on healing tools, mushrooms, and some good timing.

Fairy Lanterns

The Fairy Lantern slowly heals players and clears negative effects like poison.

It works on both health and cold debuffs, and is especially helpful before or after a risky climb.

You can even activate it just before passing out as a last-ditch save. It won't revive you, but if you time it right, it might keep you alive long enough to recover.

Mushrooms

Some mushrooms in the world can also heal you.

The effects vary, and the game doesn’t always tell you which is which. Try testing them in safe spots or keep notes if you find a healing one.

Napberries

Note: This isn’t one I have tested myself yet.

Napberries are found in the ice regions. If you eat one I’ve heard that it puts you to sleep... but when you wake up, your injuries are healed.

Assuming that is true, it can be risky to use during danger, but if you’re hurt it can be worth it. Maybe use it right before a big fall and see what happens.

First Aid Kits & Bandages

These exist, but using them isn’t easy.

If you fall, they often end up out of reach. There’s also a time limit to activate them before dying, which makes them hard to use in solo play.

For now, they’re best used before a risky climb or if you're already stationary and injured. Don’t count on them mid-fall.

Final Blurb

You don’t need to worry about losing teammates for good in PEAK. As long as you can reach an altar/temple, or find an effigy, you’ll be able to heal them, getting them back.

Just don’t wait too log to climb.
