How to Start DLC in Oblivion Remastered

If you’re wondering why your mailbox isn’t stuffed with deeds and mysterious letters after escaping the sewers — don’t panic. Oblivion Remastered decided to clean things up a bit.
Here’s how DLC works this time around.
No More Instant Quest Spam
In the original Oblivion, you’d step into daylight for the first time and immediately get bombarded with messages about castles, towers, and suspicious caves you apparently owned now. It was charming… and also overwhelming.
In Oblivion Remastered, Bethesda took a gentler approach:
DLC quests now start when you discover their locations.
No letters. No journal spam. Just pure exploration.
How to Start Each DLC
If you're looking to dive into your bonus content, here’s what to do:
Frostcrag Spire (Mage Tower) DLC
Head northeast of Bruma. Once you find the tower, the quest will automatically begin.
Battlehorn Castle DLC
Travel west of Chorrol. Approach the castle, and you'll trigger the quest involving some very rude invaders.
Deepscorn Hollow DLC
Swim south of Leyawiin along the coast. Find the hidden entrance, and your dark little quest will pop up.
Other DLC Content
For things like Mehrunes' Razor, The Thieves Den, or The Orrery, just explore the world. Once you reach the right spot, the quests will activate (we’re still on the lookout.
Why the Change?
Simple — to avoid overwhelming new players with 10 quests before they even pick a favorite weapon. Now, you get to stumble upon your riches like a proper adventurer instead of being handed property deeds by the universe.
Final Blurb
If you're wondering where all your fancy DLC quests went in Oblivion Remastered, don’t worry — they’re still there, just waiting for you to find them. So grab your map, start wandering, and pretend you totally knew you owned a haunted cave all along.
