If you're tired of waving a nightstick at gang members and hoping for the best, it’s time to gear up. The Precinct has a solid lineup of weapons, and most of them unlock as you rank up through ACPD.
Here's how to get every gun in the game, where to swap them out, and how to carry more than two at once.

Starting Weapons
You begin your career with the following gear already in hand:
.38 Police Special Revolver – Your basic sidearm
TZ1 Electronic Stun Gun – For those "don't wanna file a report" moments
Standard Baton – Good for whacking trash cans and suspects alike
All Unlockable Weapons and When You Get Them
As you level up, new weapons unlock automatically. You don’t need to buy them or complete side missions. Just keep doing shifts, arresting criminals, and issuing those sweet, sweet parking tickets.
Weapon Unlock List
PS-12 Masterkey Shotgun – Unlocks at Recruit Level II
Cantius Rifle – Unlocks at Police Officer Level III
ARM-16 Automatic Rifle – Unlocks at Police Officer Level V
37-PAS Shotgun – Unlocks at Police Officer Level VII
Stallion .45 Pistol – Unlocks at Police Officer Level IX
GAL 9MM SMG – Unlocks at Police Officer Level XI
SV-47 Assault Rifle – Unlocks at Police Officer Level XIII
V80 MP Submachine Gun – Unlocks at Police Officer Level XVIII
You can’t carry all of these at once. By default, you get a primary and secondary weapon slot.
Where To Equip and Change Weapons
There are two main ways to access your arsenal:
Inside The Precinct
Head to the Armory counter, near the interrogation room and helipad stairs. Swap out your gear before starting your shift.
On Patrol
Pop the trunk of your patrol car at any time to change your loadout. You can also reload your ammo here, which is handy during prolonged shootouts.
How To Carry More Weapons
If you want an extra gun slot, open the Combat skill tree and unlock the “Additional Holster” perk. It costs upgrade points, but it’s one of the more practical upgrades early on, especially if you're switching between non-lethal and full-auto chaos.
Which Guns Are Worth It?
The improved pistols and rifles are your bread and butter. The SMGs work in close quarters but tend to chew through ammo. Shotguns feel underwhelming compared to just going full auto with the ARM-16 or SV-47. Unless you’re roleplaying as a no-nonsense officer with a love for door-busting, they’re more flair than function.
Final Blurb
Leveling up in The Precinct actually gives you better firepower. Use your trunk wisely, unlock that extra holster, and don't be afraid to mix things up depending on the mission. Or just grab the best rifle and ignore the rest. You're the law, after all.
