How to Wake Up the Bird in Infinity Nikki

If you’re stuck trying to wake the little bird in the Fly Farther quest, you’re not alone. Playing the violin won’t help. Here’s what you actually need to do step by step.
Step 1: Start the Quest
You can begin Fly Farther after completing the Hello, Cadenceborn! quest in the Memorial Mountains.
Go back and speak with Kilo near the Old Florawish Memorial
He’ll mention hearing a bird nearby and ask you to check on it
Step 2: Find the Bird
The bird is located on top of the western ruins near where Kilo is standing. You can climb the crumbling stone columns like a staircase to reach the top.
Approach the bird to trigger a scene. You’ll carry it down and talk to Kilo again.
Step 3: Collect the Feathers
The bird won’t wake up right away. After a conversation, Nikki realizes the bird (named Chirpy) is missing some feathers and can't fly.
Follow the quest markers to collect three feathers around the area
These are all nearby and easy to grab once marked
Step 4: Craft the Accessory
Once you have all the feathers:
Go to Marques Jr. at Marques Boutique in Florawish
He’ll agree to make an accessory to help Chirpy fly again
You’ll need:
3 Buttoncones (found in the hills around Florawish)
1 Floof Yarn (groom a Floof, usually found in Grand Wishtree Square)
Return to Marques Jr. once you have the materials. He’ll give you the New Wings accessory.
Step 5: Return to the Bird
Bring the New Wings back to Kilo and give them to Chirpy. The bird will finally wake up, and the quest will complete.

This also unlocks the Chirpy Repaying the Debt side quest, which appears after you leave and return to the area.

You don’t wake the bird with music — you do it with crafting, feathers, and a bit of hiking. Talk to Kilo, find Chirpy, grab the feathers, and build the wings. Once you’ve helped Chirpy fly again, you’ll finish the quest and open up a sweet follow-up storyline.
