Is a Physical Copy or Disc of Oblivion Remastered Coming?

If you were hoping to proudly add The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered to your shelf, here’s the reality check—there’s no official physical release right now.
Bethesda dropped Oblivion Remastered as a digital-only launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Their website mentions "digital base game" for both Standard and Deluxe Editions, and during the big reveal, there wasn’t a single word about discs… But they did specify digital so…
Will There Be a Physical Release Later?
So far, Bethesda has stayed quiet about any future physical release. Some retail rumors are floating around in certain regions, but nothing confirmed. If you're holding out hope, it might be a long wait—or end in disappointment.
For now:
Digital-only on all platforms.
No collector’s edition, no steelbook, not even a token disc to install half the game before downloading the rest.
What Can You Do?
Game Pass Players: If you're on Xbox or PC, you can jump in through Game Pass without buying it outright.
PS5 Players: You’ll have to grab it from the PlayStation Store.
PC Players: It’s available on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
If a physical version ever gets announced, it’ll likely pop up on Bethesda’s store or major retailers. But until then, Cyrodiil exists only in digital form.
Final Blurb
If you're waiting for a disc, you might be waiting forever. Oblivion Remastered is currently a digital-only adventure. So unless Bethesda surprises us later, it’s time to accept that your shelf will stay one RPG lighter. At least your hard drive will get a hefty 125GB workout.
