Last Epoch: Best Acolyte Leveling Build (Season 2)

So you picked Acolyte. Good news: you’re about to melt everything in sight. Bad news: your mana bar might cry a little. Here’s how to level fast, hit hard, and make it to Monoliths without looking like a lost skeleton.
What This Acolyte Build Does
This is a chaos DoT-style Acolyte leveling build. Early on, you’ll be draining life with Rip Blood and haunting things with Wandering Spirits. Once you hit level 20, Chaos Bolts and Chthonic Fissure take over. Later, Infernal Shade helps you turn bosses into puddles.
Oh—and you’ll be teleporting everywhere with Transplant like it’s your job.
Early Game Skill Setup
Use these as you unlock them:
Level 2: Summon Skeletons
Level 4: Rip Blood (replace your basic attack)
Level 7: Bone Curse for bosses
Level 8: Wandering Spirits
Level 9: Transplant to move fast
Level 10: Swap Skeletons for Bone Golem
Level 15: Replace Golem with Spirit Plague
Wander around, curse stuff, blow things up. Life is good.
Level 20 and Beyond
Once you unlock Chthonic Fissure and Chaos Bolts, you’ll stop pretending to be a minion master and become the true damage-dealing menace you were born to be.
Your bar should look like:
Chaos Bolts
Chthonic Fissure
Infernal Shade (at level 50+)
Transplant
Spirit Plague
Rip Blood (optional sustain)
Gearing Up
Focus on:
Ward per second
Ward decay threshold
Health
Physical resist
Cast speed
Grab Silver Rings for speed and anything that buffs necrotic, fire, or DoT damage.
Early-game weapon tip: buy wands from the Gambler in Council Chambers. They’re cheap and often better than what drops.
Passive Tree Tips
Put early points into Acolyte tree for survivability. Then move into Warlock tree once it’s open. Look for anything that boosts DoT, ward, and necrotic or fire damage.
Stat Priorities
Offense:
Intelligence
DoT damage
Fire damage (later)
Necrotic damage
Spell damage
Mana regen
Cast speed
Defense:
Health
Ward per second
Physical resist (early)
Chill, frailty, and slow chance
Endurance and armor
Side Quest Goals
Don’t skip these:
Storerooms – 1 passive point
Evacuation – 1 passive point
Erza’s Ledger – 1 passive point + Avarice
Upper District – 1 passive point
Ancient Hunt – Idol slots
Lesser Refuge – 2 passive points
Final Tips
Keep Transplant on cooldown to zoom through zones
Use Chaos Bolts when low on mana (no cost)
Infernal Shade is your boss melter—don’t forget it
You’ll need to resummon Bone Golem a lot early on. It’s fine. He’s used to it.
Ward stacking is how you survive. Gear around it.
Final Blurb
This build is simple, fun, and very explode-y. You’ll curse, plague, and shade your way through the campaign while turning enemies into goo. Just keep your resistances capped and remember to cast something once in a while. You’ve got this, you spooky spell-chucker.
