If you're running low on Septims and don’t feel like grinding through dungeons, the gold console command in Oblivion Remastered lets you get rich instantly. Here’s how to use it.
How to Open the Console
Press the tilde key (~) on your keyboard to open the console. This only works on PC. If nothing happens, check that your keyboard is set to English (US layout).
The Gold Command
To add gold to your inventory, type this command:
player.additem 0000000F X
Replace the X with the amount of gold you want. For example:
player.additem 0000000F 5000
That would give you 5,000 gold instantly.
Notes and Tips
0000000F is the item ID for gold. It never changes.
You can type in any number you want, including something like 9999999.
This works at any time, even during quests.
Using console commands disables achievements unless you use a mod to re-enable them.
You don’t need to target anything — just open the console and enter the line.
Final Blurb
If you're tired of scraping by or want to buy gear early, the gold console command is your best friend. Use it wisely, or just go crazy and buy out every merchant in Cyrodiil.
