In OSRS, the fastest way to get 99 Slayer in 2025 is by barraging monsters in multi-combat areas and cannoning everything else.

You should use the highest Slayer master available. Most players use Duradel or Nieve for efficient tasks and point rewards.

Best Setup for Fast Slayer

Recommended Stats

• At least 85 Combat

• 70+ Melee stats

• 43+ Prayer

• 77 Magic for Ice Barrage

• 55 Slayer to start using block slots

Required Quests

• Desert Treasure I (Ancient Magicks)

• Fairytale II (Fairy rings)

• Dwarf Cannon (Use cannon)

• Haunted Mine (Salve amulet for undead)

• Monkey Madness II (Demonic gorillas)

• The Fremennik Exiles (Slayer helmet upgrade)

Best Gear (Fast XP Priority)

Use the best-in-slot you can afford. Prioritize:

• Slayer helmet (i)

• Soulreaper axe or Ghrazi rapier

At 85 Combat

At 100 Combat + 50 Slayer

Switch to Duradel. He has the best XP tasks and higher task point bonuses.

Use Duradel for every 10th task to max out Slayer points.

Spend points in this order:

1. Unlock Slayer helmet

2. Unlock Bigger and Badder (superiors)

3. Block bad tasks (Suqah, Drakes, Trolls, etc.)

4. Unlock ring crafting

5. Extend good tasks (Dust devils, Nechryaels, Smoke devils)

6. Keep 100+ points banked for skips

Skip long, bad XP tasks like Waterfiends, Steel Dragons, Black Demons (unless for money). Always cannon fast tasks and barrage in Catacombs.

• Smoke devils (150k/hr, best XP in game)

• Dust devils (100k/hr)

• Nechryaels (100k/hr)

• Mutated Bloodvelds (80–100k/hr)

• Ankous (barrage in Catacombs or Wilderness)
