OSRS Grid Master Hallowed Sepulchre Guide & Rewards

OSRS Grid Master Hallowed Sepulchre Guide & Rewards

The Hallowed Sepulchre in Grid Master gives one of the biggest experience rewards in the entire event. Completing floor 5 automatically finishes every Achievement Diary in Old School RuneScape, granting over 880,000 base XP from claimable lamps.

How to Complete the Hallowed Sepulchre Task

You only need to finish floor 5 to complete the tile. There’s no need to loot the coffin or beat the timer. Once you reach the end, the game counts it as a full completion and triggers diary auto-finish across all regions.

This is why players rush 92 Agility early. The Hallowed Sepulchre is locked behind that level, but once cleared, the XP payout instantly jumps your total level by hundreds of points. It’s one of the most efficient tiles in the entire Grid Master board.

Diary Completion and XP Reward

The full diary unlock gives roughly 880,000 base XP in total. These come as lamps that can be claimed from their usual NPCs. The lamps don’t appear in your inventory automatically, so you’ll need to visit each diary master just like in the main game.

If you have relics that link skills through Gatherer or Combatant, the lamp XP applies to all linked skills too. This means you can multiply the value even further if you claim them after setting up your relic synergy.

One note: the Ardougne elite diary can’t be claimed without 91 Smithing. The NPC will block the lamp if your level is too low, but all other diaries work correctly.

Tips for Reaching 92 Agility Quickly

Getting to 92 Agility can sound painful, but Grid Master makes it fast. The best methods are tied to relic bonuses and underwater training options.

Underwater Agility

Talk to Murphy near the Fishing Trawler after completing the Pirate Pete section of Recipe for Disaster. He’ll make you a fishbowl helmet and diving apparatus, letting you train underwater agility near Port Khazard.

Use Dodgy Deals to double XP gain while pickpocketing underwater. With flippers equipped, this method gives around 4 million XP per hour.

Linking Agility

If you link Agility with Thieving or Slayer through Gatherer, you’ll level all three together. Thieving is ideal since it gains XP quickly, letting Agility rise passively while you make gold and unlock other relics.

Last Stand Trick

If you’re struggling with traps, lower your HP to 1 using a locator orb, then trigger Last Stand. You’ll be immune to trap damage for several seconds, letting you run through flame walls and darts safely.

Hallowed Tokens

Buy Hallowed Tokens with marks from the earlier Sepulchre floors. Each one adds an extra minute to your timer, which helps if you’re learning the layout or just want an easy first clear.

Best Skills to Use Diary Lamps On

When you’ve got all your diary lamps ready, use them wisely. These are base XP, so relics and multipliers don’t increase them. The best value goes to slow or expensive skills.

  • Runecraft, since it barely benefits from relics

  • Herblore, for skipping tedious early potion making

  • Construction, if you haven’t unlocked Golden God yet

  • Agility or Slayer, if they’re not already capped

Final Blurb

The Hallowed Sepulchre tile in OSRS Grid Master isn’t just a test of patience, it’s the biggest XP shortcut in the mode. Reaching 92 Agility and clearing floor 5 gives over 880,000 XP from diary lamps, pushing your total level sky high. Train efficiently, use relic synergy, and claim every lamp as soon as you can. Few tiles reward your effort this much.
