Smithing is one of the fastest 99s in Grid Master once you unlock the right relics. The event’s boosted XP and relic combos make it possible to max this skill in under half an hour with the crystal item method.

Fastest Way to Train Smithing in Grid Master

The best Smithing method to gain XP in Gridmaster uses Crystal Shields, Crystal Seeds, and Singing Bowls in Prifddinas. This setup also gives Crafting and Farming XP at the same time. Credit to u/Ill_Sprinkles_9976 on r/2007scape for this specific method.

Buy Crystal Shields from Islwyn in southeast Prifddinas. Change their left-click option to Revert, then turn them all into Crystal Weapon Seeds. Trade those seeds to Pennant at the crystal tree patch for Crystal Acorns. Plant the acorns, grow the trees, then chop them down to collect Crystal Shards.

Use the shards at a Singing Bowl to make new Crystal Shields, Halberds, or Helmets. Each inventory crafted gives both Smithing and Crafting XP. Revert the items back into seeds and repeat. The process loops cleanly and can hit 99 in minutes.

Level and Relic Setup

Crystal Shields need 78 Smithing and Crafting, but Production Prodigy lowers that to 66 with its +12 boost. You can also use a Crystal Armour Seed instead and make helmets at level 70 (58 with boost).
