Schedule 1: Counter-Offer Guide

Once you switch from bags to jars in Schedule 1 your deals start getting a little trickier. Not every NPC wants a full five-pack, and if you're not careful, you'll end up giving away product for free. Here's how to flip that around and make more money on each deal using counter offers.

When to Use a Counter Offer

If a customer texts you asking for a single unit—but all you’ve got is a 5-unit jar—you’ve got two choices:

  • Give them the jar anyway and get a small $10 generosity bonus.

  • Send a counter offer and try to sell them the full jar for a higher price.

What to Change in the Offer

You can adjust two things:

  • The quantity — Round it up to match your jar size.

  • The price — Bump it up to match what the product is actually worth.

Even if they initially offer $260, countering with a flat $300 for 5 is totally fair. If they’re asking for 2 or 3 units, you can usually still round up to 5 if you give them a bit of a discount.

Deliver Late at Night

Always schedule your deliveries for late night. Why?

  • You get a curfew bonus, sometimes up to $100 extra.

  • Time won’t pass past 4 AM if you have scheduled deals, so you’ll never run out of time.

  • You can stack multiple deals and deliver them all at once.

Basically, it gives you breathing room to prep and get organized.

Small Orders Are Tougher

When NPCs ask for only 1 or 2 units, it’s harder to negotiate. You might need to keep a few baggies around for those smaller deals, since they won’t always accept your full-jar offers.

Give Jars to Dealers Too

If you're handing off product to your dealers, use jars instead of bags. The game breaks the jars down automatically when they sell, so you’re just giving them a bigger pool to pull from. More product = more sales = more money.

Final Blurb

Counter offers are key once you’re dealing in bulk. Don’t hand out freebies unless you're feeling generous. Instead, upsell, wait for late-night bonuses, and keep your stock organized. It's all about squeezing more money from the same jar—and sleeping just fine about it.
