Tiny Bookshop: How to Save the Game
Tiny Bookshop saves your progress automatically at the end of each in-game day. There is no manual save option (at least as of this writing), so you will always continue from the start of the next day when you load the game.
Autosave System
The game triggers a save once the day ends. You can safely quit after the save without losing progress. There is no way to save mid-day, so if you exit early you will have to replay that day.
Save Slots
Tiny Bookshop offers three save slots. You can start new games in any of these slots without affecting your other progress.
Steam Cloud
Steam Cloud saving is currently disabled. The developers paused it after reports of save files disappearing when switching between PC and Steam Deck. Your saves will remain local to your device until they re-enable the feature after confirming it is stable.
Keep an eye out for updates and it’ll be reinstated soon.
Saving Tips
Always finish the day to trigger the autosave.
Use the three slots to keep separate playthroughs or test different strategies.
If you play on multiple devices, be aware that your saves will not transfer until Steam Cloud is restored.
Final Blurb
Saving in Tiny Bookshop is simple. The game autosaves at the end of each day, gives you three save slots, and currently stores saves locally while Steam Cloud is disabled. Just complete your day before quitting and your progress will be secure.
