Where to Find Your Save Files in Schedule 1

Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life.

If you're playing Schedule 1, knowing where your save files live can be helpful if you want to back them up, troubleshoot, or just snoop around your empire's data. Here’s where they’re hiding on your PC.

Save File Location on Windows

You’ll find your save files tucked away in a hidden folder. Here's how to get there:

File Path: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves

Replace [YourUsername] with your actual Windows profile name.

  • The AppData folder is hidden by default. If you’re browsing manually, make sure to enable “Show hidden files” in File Explorer.

Quick Access Method (Using Run)

You can also copy and paste this into the Run box: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves

  • Press Win + R to open Run.

  • Paste the line above and hit Enter.

Can You Transfer Demo Save Files?

Technically, yes. But you really shouldn’t.

Transferring your save files from the demo version into the full game often leads to bugs: broken missions, missing items, or progression glitches. It’s safer to just start fresh in the full version.

How to Back Up Your Save Files

If you want to back up your game progress manually:

  1. Go to the save folder using the steps above.

  2. Copy the entire Saves folder to a different drive or a cloud storage folder (like Google Drive or Dropbox).

  3. Done. Your empire is now safely duplicated.

You can also use backup software if you're into automation, but for most players, a manual copy works just fine.

Final Blurb

Schedule 1 might not remind you to back up your files, but it’s worth doing—especially if you’re modding, experimenting, or just paranoid. Head to the LocalLow folder, make a copy, and you’re covered. If anything goes sideways, you’ll thank yourself later.
