Fire Arrows can turn a normal shot into a powerful burn strike, and knowing how to swap to them quickly can save your life in combat or puzzle moments.
How to Switch to Fire Arrows
Hold LT to aim your bow, then press A while still holding LT to switch to Fire Arrow mode.
You’ll see a small icon appear near your ammo count showing the fire symbol when it’s active. If you run out of Fire Arrows, the prompt will show 0/1, and you’ll need to craft or collect more before using them again. We’re not sure exactly how it works on PC yet (we are using a controller) but will update once we figure that out later.
How to Get Fire Arrows
You can earn or craft Fire Arrows early in the story by progressing through the main quest or looting chests. Some merchants also sell special arrows in towns or camps once you unlock the shop menu.
To restock:
Visit an Equipment Merchant in larger villages
Loot enemy archers who often drop small Fire Arrow bundles
Complete hunting missions or events for crafting materials

Using Fire Arrows deals damage over time and can ignite environmental objects.
Use them on explosive barrels or wooden barricades to clear paths
Perfect for bosses weak to elemental attacks
Swap back to normal arrows by pressing A again while aiming if you want to conserve ammo
