If you want to change your build in WoW Forever, you can refund your spent talent points rather than start a new character. Respeccing is handled by class trainers, and the price depends on how recently you've reset your talents.
How to Respec Talents in WoW Forever
To respec talents in WoW Forever, speak to your class trainer and select "I wish to unlearn my class or legacy talents." Choose to reset your class talents, pay the required fee, and your spent talent points will be refunded.
Follow these steps:
- Find a class trainer that matches your character's class.
- Speak to the trainer and select "I wish to unlearn my class or legacy talents."
- Choose the option to reset your class talents.
- Review the cost and confirm the reset.
- Open your talent screen and spend your refunded points on your new build.
Respeccing doesn't remove your character's levels or permanently reduce your available talent points. It simply clears your existing talent allocation so you can rebuild your specialization.
Where to Find Class Trainers in WoW Forever
Class trainers are available in major cities, including Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, and Undercity.
However, not every city offers trainers for every class. You'll need to find one that matches your character's class before you can reset your talents.
If you're having trouble locating a trainer, speak to a city guard for directions to the appropriate class trainer.
The talent reset option is accessed through the trainer's dialogue rather than directly through your talent screen.
How Much Does It Cost to Respec Talents in WoW Forever?
Respeccing talents in WoW Forever costs 1 silver if you haven't reset your talents recently.
Resetting again within an hour increases the price. After an hour, the cost returns to 1 silver.
You can see the exact amount you'll need to pay when speaking to your class trainer, before confirming the reset.
I recommend planning your new talent allocation before resetting, particularly if you intend to experiment with multiple builds in a short period.
