Best Served Cold Quest Guide | Revenge of the Savage Planet

Best Served Cold is the codename for the Tweed’s Revenge questline in Revenge of the Savage Planet. This is where you help Martin Tweed gather dirt on Alta InterGlobal after they booted him from his own company. It’s a slow burn but leads to one of the game’s proper endings.

Here’s how to do it.

How to Start Best Served Cold (AKA Tweed’s Revenge)

The quest starts automatically after Tweed contacts you via your Habitat terminal. Check your Journal and you’ll see Best Served Cold listed under active missions.

You’re told to collect 13 pieces of evidence spread across three planets:

• 5 in Xephyr

• 5 in Zenithian Rift

• 3 in Quasadron IX

You won’t be able to scan everything right away—you’ll need certain upgrades first.

Xephyr – Evidence Locations

1. Cactus Valley – Scan the cryopod near the pond in the middle of the zone.

2. G’nortt’s High Rise (north) – Lava melt cobwebs in a cave to reach it.

3. G’nortt’s High Rise (back path) – Grapple and follow the slope; it’s near pink plants.

4. Great Oasis – Found near the cave while doing the main quest.

5. Caves of Miranyth – Use the Goo Ingestor to pass the electric slime and solve the Arid Maw puzzle to open the path.

Zenithian Rift – Evidence Locations

1. Bilodeau’s Floating Isles – Cryo pod in a cave behind the waterfall.

2. Summit of Ruin – Right across from the zone’s teleporter.

3. Depths of Trrn – Destroy blue goop to reveal a server. Toxic gear required.

4. Chikit’s Pools (underwater tunnel) – Server is just inside the entrance.

5. Chikit’s Pools (surface exit) – Another pod shows up just before surfacing.

Quasadron IX – Evidence Locations

All three are in Alta’s Trash Mountain:

• Two are on top of large trash piles

• One is tucked behind a Stinging Bloatus plant

Watch your step... it's a long fall if you miss a ledge.

Nastygram Quests

During Best Served Cold, Alta will get cranky and start sending you “Nastygrams.” These are bonus side missions where you:

• Destroy cardboard standees of Alta executives

• Eliminate 54 weird clone dummies in Nu Florida

These show up automatically as you progress the main quest. Do them if you want the full story payoff.

What Happens When You Finish?

Once you scan all 13 evidence points:

• Head back to your Habitat

• Launch the Javelin

• Unlock the “Revenge Is Best Served via the Internet” achievement

This counts as one of the game’s possible endings. If you want to see the others, don’t worry—you can reload and pick a different path later.

Best Served Cold is a planet-hopping scavenger hunt with a petty twist. Martin Tweed’s revenge mission gives you some of the most fun exploration goals in the game. Just watch for environmental puzzles… This quest makes full use of lava, acid, grapple, and every tool you’ve unlocked.
