If you’re playing as Yasuke, the walking tank with a sword bigger than your hopes and dreams, you’ll want gear that helps you hit harder, block better, and not die. Luckily, the game has some legendary armor that does exactly that.
Here’s what to wear if you want to turn Yasuke into an unstoppable force of nature.
Protector’s Armour (Chest)
Where to find it: Legendary chest in Nijo Palace, Yamashiro
What it does: Lets you parry unblockable attacks.
Why it’s great: Normally, unblockable means “run away or die.” With this armor, Yasuke laughs and parries anyway.
Armour of the Undead (Chest)
Where to get it: Bought from the Exchange (premium store—but you can earn keys for it through gameplay).
What it does: Parry = poison cloud.
Why it’s great: Turns defense into offense. Block their attack, and they’ll cough themselves into the grave.
Protector’s Helmet (Helmet)
Where to find it: Legendary chest in Hanazono Castle, Yamashiro
What it does: Deal 50% damage back to attackers after a parry.
Why it’s great: Punishes enemies just for trying. Basically says, “Nice swing, here’s half your health gone.”
Elegant Samurai Hat (Helmet)
Where to find it: Legendary chest in Yama Camp, Takatori, Yamato
What it does: Take 5% less damage per enemy in a fight.
Why it’s great: The more enemies there are, the less damage you take. Yasuke thrives in chaos.
Kitsune’s Trickery (Amulet)
Where to get it: Assassinate The Fool during the Lost Honor quest in Izumi Settsu.
What it does: +1% health per mastery point in the samurai skill tree.
Why it’s great: Yasuke’s a samurai. You’ll put most of your points there, so this adds a ton of health.
Howl of the Dragon (Amulet)
Where to get it: Complete A Promise quest in Kameyama Castle, Tamba.
What it does: +2% critical damage per mastery point in the long katana tree.
Why it’s great: If you like big crit numbers (and who doesn’t?), this amulet delivers.
Dragon Tooth (Amulet)
Where to get it: Bought from the Exchange.
What it does: 100% crit chance after a finisher.
Why it’s great: Your next hit after a finisher is guaranteed to be a monster.
Final Blurb
To get all this armor, you’ll have to clear out high-level castles, finish quests, and maybe dabble in the game’s premium store (or grind Shadow Projects to get stuff for free). Until then, wear whatever doesn’t get you killed, and keep upgrading your gear. Yasuke’s already a powerhouse—but with the right armor, he’s basically a one-man army.
