The Closet is a tiny dead-end stuffed with mystery junk and the occasional jackpot. It’s easy to overlook, but if you draft it early, it can quietly carry your entire run with a lucky roll.

What the Closet Does
Contains 2 random items, usually currency like Gems, Keys, or Ivory Dice
Occasionally, you’ll find Special Items like a Compass, Keycard, Metal Detector, or even a Sledgehammer
Has 1 door, making it a true Dead-End
You can draft it pretty much anywhere—just not against the estate walls
It’s the manor’s equivalent of a junk drawer… if that junk drawer sometimes held priceless tools.
Why the Closet is Good
Great early-game room for stockpiling resources before things get weird
Item pool includes both minor currency and major upgrades
A well-timed Sledgehammer can skip multiple puzzles later
Pairs well with other blueprint rooms that need tools
Just make sure you don’t block your progress because closets don’t lead anywhere. Tuck it away on a side path or in a corner so it doesn’t ruin your route.
Floorplan Upgrades
Closets can be upgraded using Upgrade Disks at a Terminal. Here’s what you can get:
Hallway Closet – +2 items, and +1 extra item if placed next to a Hallway
Bedroom Closet – +2 items, and +2 extra items if placed next to a Bedroom
Empty Closet – Starts with 0 items, but +4 extra items if placed next to a Red Room
Smart placement = big rewards.
Final Blurb
The Closet may be small, but it’s got main-character energy if you get lucky. It’s not posh, it’s not spacious, and it definitely doesn’t open new paths, but when you need a quick hit of loot with zero effort, this little storage room delivers. Just don’t forget to plan your exits.
