The Garage is one of the most useful early-game rooms in Blue Prince, and not just because it hands you 3 free Keys. Inside, you’ll also find that you may be able to open the Garage Door, unlocking access to the West Gate and the outer estate grounds.

What the Garage Does
Contains 3 regular Keys for free
Lets you open the Garage Door (with some stipulations) to reach the West Path outside
It’s a Dead-End to your room pathing, so plan its placement carefully
This room connects the manor to the outside world and gives you the tools to explore it.
Why the Garage is Interesting
Gives you instant access to extra loot, puzzle areas, and Outer Rooms like the Toolshed and Trading Post
Essential if you’re trying to unlock the West Gate, which leads to permanent upgrades
Great mid-run boost with 3 Keys, which can save you Coins or bypass puzzles
Combos well with the Utility Closet, which powers the Garage if needed (see above link to open the garage door).
Once that door opens, a big chunk of the estate opens up with it.
