Blue Prince: Reading Nook Room Guide

The Nook is one of the smallest and simplest rooms in Blue Prince. It’s easy to overlook, but it holds something everyone always seems to run out of: a key.
Really just a lonely one-door room and a freebie waiting inside.

What the Reading Nook Does
Room Type: Blueprint
Function: Always contains 1 Key
Doors: 1 (a dead-end room)
The Nook is one of several Dead-End Blueprint Rooms you can draft during your run. Unlike the Closet or Walk-in Closet, the Nook only ever has one thing inside—but it’s usually the thing you needed five rooms ago.
Bonus Details
You’ll often find the key sitting on a table or tucked inside a drawer.
Nooks don’t include random loot like dice, coins, or items—just the key.
As of now, the Nook has no known Upgrade Disk options, and it doesn't appear to have any secret interactions.
Great to draft when you're running low on keys and don’t want to risk spending a Gem in a shop.
When to Use It
You’re planning ahead and want to stockpile keys for rooms like the Vault or Great Hall.
You’ve already used your Metal Detector, and you're not seeing keys elsewhere.
You just drafted a Red Room you really don’t want to skip, and you're out of unlocks.
Final Blurb
The Nook isn’t anything fancy but it knows what it is: a no-nonsense pitstop on your way to Room 46.You’ll get a key and a quiet place to catch your breath. Sometimes, that’s all you really need.
