The Security Room is one of the few rooms in Blue Prince that’s actually trying to help you. It simply just gives you intel, which, in this game, is basically pure gold.

What the Security Room Does
Lets you view the inventory of all items currently placed in the house
That includes tools, keys, coins, and whatever else is hiding behind a bookshelf
It’s a Mechanical Room, so it also counts toward gear-based puzzles like the Mechanarium
Draftable as a Blueprint Room—not too rare, not too common
This room is like having X-ray vision, but only for loot.
Why the Security Room is Epic
Saves you from wasting Steps retracing your path
Perfect for deciding where to go next when resources are low
Helps you track down puzzle items without blind guessing
Also contains the Staff Notice bulletin board with the hidden terminal password (see: SWANSONG)
It doesn’t give you the items, but it tells you exactly where they are. And in Blue Prince, that honestly is quite the gift.

The Security Room is one of the rare places in the manor where you're not being tricked, drained, or straight up cursed. It just shows you where the stuff is and lets you decide what to do with that info. In a house full of secrets, that’s a power move.
