The Utility Closet is small, unassuming, and secretly one of the most important rooms in the entire game. It contains the Breaker Box, which lets you flip the power on (or off) in other parts of the manor—something that sounds boring until tyou realize it opens secret caverns, elevators, and entire puzzle chains.

What the Utility Closet Room Does

Contains a Breaker Box which is key to a puzzle.
Lets you power up or power down specific rooms across the estate
It’s a Dead-End, so once you’re done with the switches, that’s it
Also counts as a Mechanical Room, making it useful for gear-based puzzles like the Mechanarium

It’s the nerve center for half the manor’s weird electricity-based secrets.

Why the Utility Closet is Crucial

Here’s just a few things you need the Utility Closet for:

Powering the Garage to open the West Gate
Activating the Gemstone Cavern puzzle via colored buttons
Powering the Boiler Room, which leads to Blackbridge Grotto
Enabling terminals and other interactable electronics throughout the map
Sometimes used to control elevators, saunas, or lighting puzzles

Basically, if something looks powered down or suspiciously broken it probably wants you to find this room first.
