Borderlands 4 How to Access Bank

Borderlands 4 How to Access Bank

Inventory space fills up fast in Borderlands 4, but the Bank system makes it easy to stash gear for later. You can now send items directly from your Backpack to the Bank without visiting a hub, which saves time and keeps rare loot safe. This guide explains how to access the Bank and manage your storage.

How to Use the Bank

Borderlands 4 lets you manage Bank storage in two ways. You can physically visit a Bank in towns such as The Launchpad, or you can send items straight from your inventory.

Either method links to the same shared account storage.

When you visit a Bank building, you’ll find a terminal where you can deposit or withdraw gear. Items placed here are shared across all Vault Hunters on your account, making it the best way to move strong weapons between characters.

How to Send Inventory Items to the Bank

From your inventory menu, move to the Backpack tab. Hover over an item, mark it, and select the Bank option. On PC this can be done with a right click. After marking, a prompt at the bottom of the screen allows you to send all marked items directly to the Bank.

This feature saves long trips back to town and is especially useful during loot-heavy missions. Keep in mind that you’ll need open Bank slots for the transfer to succeed.

Faster Ways to Store Gear

If marking items one at a time feels slow, use filters in your inventory menu. You can sort by rarity, weapon type, or damage type, then mark entire groups at once. This makes clearing Backpack space quick when you have duplicates or low-priority loot.

Even with filters, you may want to handle certain weapons manually. High-value items or gear tied to specific builds can be marked individually, ensuring you don’t accidentally stash something you still need.

Final Blurb

The Bank in Borderlands 4 is simple to access once you know where to look. Use town Banks for direct storage, or send items instantly from your inventory for speed. With filters and marking, you can keep your Backpack light and your best loot safe across all characters.
