Nope. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 does not let you put your hood up, no matter how badly you want to. The game simply doesn’t have that option. But…

If you’re on PC, there’s a mod on NexusMods that fixes this. It lets you wear six different hoods, each with 10+ color variations. You can buy them at Bartosek’s tailor shop in Troskowitz (the starting town).

Note: Please only do this if you are comfortable and knowledgeable on using mods. There may also be other hood mods available than the one we are listing here.

How to Install the Mod

  1. Go to your game directory and create a "Mods" folder.

  2. Download and unzip the mod folder "Hood_On" inside it.

  3. The final path should be:
    /KingdomComeDeliverance2/Mods/Hood_On/

  4. Launch the game.

  5. Head to Bartosek’s tailor shop in Troskowitz and buy your hood.

Mod Details & Compatibility

  • Hoods keep the same stats as their default versions.

  • The mod does not change NPC clothing.

  • Hoods can’t be found on NPCs, only at the tailor.

  • Incompatible with mods that change Bartosek’s shop.

So, while the base game won’t let you pull your hood up, PC players have a solid workaround. Console players? Well… maybe someday.
