Deadzone Rogue Best Guns & Elements Guide

After testing a lot of weapons and watching what’s working in co-op, here are the guns and elements we recommend right now.
Note: this guide is a work in progress during Early Access.
Best Guns & Weapons in Deadzone: Rogue
Tempest (AR)
Best all-around primary. If you use the Ammo Augment, you get up to 150 shots and fast reloads. Solid choice for almost any build.
Arcblade SMG
Very fast fire rate. Works great with Lightning or Cryo. Procs fast and shreds enemies.
Pulsar Assault Rifle
Good for mid-to-long range fights. Lightning Strike or Cryo work really well here.
Snapdragon SMG
This becomes a pocket minigun if you use the “don’t consume ammo after swap” perk. Very strong for hipfire builds.
Warbringer / Juggernaut LMGs
Big damage. Fire rate and ammo perks turn these into boss killers.
Rampage Shotgun
One of the best shotguns. Freeze or Cryo augments make it great for close quarters.
Nova Burst Shotgun
Great secondary for swap builds. Can be paired with other shotguns or SMGs.
Tritek
Honestly underrated. Run it with Ammo Augment and it becomes a top-tier choice.
Energy Sniper
Excellent weak point damage. Combustion or Shatter augments are ideal.
Hand Cannon Revolver
Strong sidearm. Pairs well with Void Singularity for good crowd control.
Best Elements in Deadzone: Rogue
Here’s what we’ve found works best:
Cryo (Ice) — Slows enemies, super useful especially in co-op.
Void — Great for crowd control and Void grenades clear whole rooms.
Lightning — Strong for crit-focused builds.
Fire — Can work if you have the right perks.
Combustion / Shatter — Great for grenade and explosive builds.
Extra Tips
Hipfire builds are really effective right now.
Swap builds with two SMGs or a shotgun/SMG combo are very strong.
Ammo capacity augments are almost required for high fire rate weapons.
Shotguns are the best pick for close quarters missions.
Final Blurb
Most guns can work with the right perks, but Cryo and Void setups are what I keep going back to. If it freezes or explodes, it’s probably going to carry you.
