Forever Skies: How to Make Plant Resin

Plant Resin is one of those resources that looks like a mess at first—sticky, gooey, and annoying to walk through. But once you actually use it right, it turns out to be a surprisingly valuable crafting ingredient.

Here’s how to get it and what to do with it.

Where to Find Plant Resin

You’ve got two options:

  • Scavenge it: Plant Resin naturally appears in the Underdust. Keep your eyes out while exploring that biome—usually it shows up as sticky green gunk.

  • Craft it: You can also make it using the Distiller, once you’ve unlocked the recipe.

How to Unlock the Recipe

To unlock the recipe at your Research Station, just scan or pick up one of the following:

  • Dust Daisy – That’s the key. Scan it or collect one, and Plant Resin will appear as a new research recipe.

Then, simply complete the recipe at the station to unlock it for crafting in the Distiller.

How to Craft Plant Resin

Once unlocked, you can distill Plant Resin with:

  • 3x Dust Daisy → 5x Plant Resin
(Crafted in the Distiller, under the Liquids section.)

It’s a fair trade—especially since you’ll be needing a good amount of it for building and advanced crafting.

What Plant Resin Is Used For

Plant Resin isn’t just sticky for fun. You’ll need it for:

  • Epoxy – A stronger bonding agent

  • Unique Pattern Cartridges

  • Decorative Items

Basically, it’s a foundation for any crafting recipe that needs a durable adhesive.

Final Blurb

Plant Resin might look like a hazard on the floor, but it’s pure gold in your Distiller. Grab some Dust Daisies, unlock the recipe, and start crafting this green goop into something way more useful.
