If you're diving into FragPunk’s ranked mode, you’ll want to understand how the ranking system works. Doesn’t matter if you're climbing from Bronze or aiming for Punkmaster, this guide explains every rank in order and what makes Advanced Ranked Matches different.
All FragPunk Ranks in Order
FragPunk ranks are divided into seven tiers, from beginner-friendly to elite. Here’s the full ranking order:
Bronze – Entry-level rank for new competitive players.
Silver – A step up, where basic skills start to matter.
Gold – The middle ground, where solid teamwork and aim become important.
Platinum – Higher-level play with more experienced players.
Diamond – The start of Advanced Ranked Matches, with a draft system.
Master – Near the top, where only highly skilled players compete.
Punkmaster – The ultimate rank for the best FragPunk players.
How FragPunk’s Ranked Mode Works
Ranked mode unlocks at level 30 – You must grind casual matches before you can enter ranked.
Two types of ranked matches:
Regular Ranked Matches (Bronze to Platinum)
Advanced Ranked Matches (Diamond and above)
Regular Ranked Matches (Bronze – Platinum)

11 rounds total – First team to win 6 rounds takes the match.
Shard Cards are chosen by team votes.
Tie-breaker: If teams are tied, a 1v1 duel decides the winner.
Advanced Ranked Matches (Diamond – Punkmaster)
Same round-based format but with extra strategy.
Card Captain system – Each team elects a captain who picks cards.
Card bans and picks before the match starts, adding a draft phase to ranked play.
Final Blurb
FragPunk’s ranking system, obviously, rewards skill, teamwork, and quite frankly a bit of luck (bad teammates OP right?). If you're starting out, focus on ranking up through Regular Ranked Matches. Once you hit Diamond, get ready for card bans, captain picks, and tougher lobbies. The climb to Punkmaster won’t be easy—but that’s what makes it fun!
