Galaxy Idle Clicker Black Hole Guide

Galaxy Idle Clicker Black Hole Guide

The Black Hole is the second prestige layer in Galaxy Idle Clicker. Unlocking and using it is key to long-term progression, as it lets you reset runs for Black Matter, powerful upgrades, and permanent boosts.

How Black Hole Travel Works

Black Hole Travel is a prestige reset that requires a set number of Light Years. Each reset gives you Black Matter, which can be spent on upgrades. The more Black Hole Travels you perform, the more upgrades you unlock.

You can refund one Black Matter upgrade per run, but only before killing 1000 enemies. Plan refunds at the start of each run if needed. Some upgrade costs are lowered after reaching Supernova Collapse (Tier 3 Prestige).

  • Prioritize Free Junk, Free Plasma, and Free Citizens first to keep core resources scaling.

  • Hyper Garbage is one of the strongest QoL upgrades early on.

  • Multipliers quickly snowball progression, so unlock them as soon as they’re available.

  • Supernova Collapse reduces the cost of some Black Hole upgrades, making them easier later.
