He is Coming: Cauldron & Food Guide
Written by Michael Owen | He is Coming
Cauldrons let you combine food in He Is Coming to create stronger single items with stacked effects. Adding a Honeycomb makes the result even more powerful, often doubling or upgrading the outcome.
You’ll find Cauldrons during runs. Use them wisely to prep for bosses or refill your strength before a tough floor.

Cauldron Strategy
Combining any two food items merges both effects into one item. The effects stack, making it a solid idea to pair recovery with defense, or thorns with healing.
If you throw in a Honeycomb, it adds the honey version of each effect on top. You’ll usually only find a few Honeycombs per run, so save them for high-impact food like Vampiric Wine or Redwood Roast.
Final Blurb
The Cauldron system in He Is Coming gives you control over your build in a roguelike run. Use food early to survive, but save Honeycombs for runs you’re ready to win.
Power combos like Spiny Chestnut + Vampiric Wine + Honeycomb can carry you through the final bosses.
FAQ

Is there a way to reverse or uncombine food?
No, once you use the Cauldron, the result is permanent for that run.
Are there other Honeycomb effects outside the Cauldron?
No, Honeycombs are only used at Cauldrons to enhance food combinations.
