Hell Clock Trinkets Guide

Hell Clock Trinkets Guide

Written by Michael Owen | Hell Clock

Trinkets in Hell Clock are passive bonuses that automatically enhance your character during each run. You cannot craft or modify them, and they are lost when you die or ascend. This makes them run-specific boosts that scale your power as you progress.

Trinket Categories

Vigor

Increases maximum life, improving overall survivability.

Fury

Boosts offensive power with higher damage, critical hit damage, and critical hit chance.

Agility

Improves mobility and attack flow with attack speed, movement speed, and cooldown speed bonuses.

Spirit

Increases maximum mana, enabling more frequent ability use and resource-heavy builds.

Rarity and Tiers

Trinkets drop in four rarities:

  • Common

  • Magic

  • Rare

  • Epic

Each rarity can scale through three tiers, providing progressively stronger bonuses as you upgrade versions of the same trinket type. These upgrades occur automatically as you find better drops, keeping you focused on combat rather than inventory management.

How to Acquire Trinkets

  • Enemy Drops: Any enemy can drop trinkets, but elite enemies have a significantly higher chance.

  • Chests: Dungeon chests can contain trinkets along with gold and other loot.

  • Boss Fights: Bosses occasionally drop rare or epic trinkets, making them key targets during a run.

Why Trinkets are Epic (No Pun Intended)

Trinkets passively enhance your build without taking inventory space or requiring micromanagement. A run with multiple upgraded trinkets can feel noticeably stronger, especially when stacked with synergistic relics and constellation upgrades.

Final Blurb

Trinkets are a core source of passive power in Hell Clock. Whether it’s more survivability, faster attacks, or additional mana, each trinket directly impacts your ability to handle tougher enemies and bosses as you climb ascension levels.
