You can only change skins in MindsEye from the main menu, not during gameplay. If you're trying to equip a weapon, vest, or car skin, the option is a little hidden.

Here’s how to do it.

Where to Change Skins

Step 1: Go to the Main Menu

Start the game but stay on the main title screen where you can start or load the game.

Step 2: Look at the Bottom Right

You’ll see a button labeled "Advanced Settings" in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Click it.

Step 3: Open Customize

Once you're in Advanced Settings, you’ll find a Customize tab where you can change your skins.

This is where you can apply any redeemed items, including:

  • Weapon skins

  • Vest cosmetics

  • Car skins (like the free one from promos)

Skins Don't Unlock Instantly In-Game

Even if you’ve redeemed a code, the skin won’t show up until you visit the Customize section in the main menu. You won’t find it anywhere during regular gameplay or in pause menus.

Final Blurb

MindsEye doesn’t make it obvious, but skin changes happen before you even load into the game. Head to the title screen, click Advanced Settings, and dress up however you want before jumping into Redrock.
