How to Dodge

Right before an enemy attack lands:

  • PC - Press Q
    PS5 - Press Circle
    Xbox - Press B

What is a Perfect Dodge

A normal dodge gets you out of trouble. A Perfect Dodge — done at the last possible second — can trigger bonus effects if you have certain abilities or Pictos equipped.

Dodging is your safest bet when learning enemy patterns or dealing with heavy-hitting attacks. If you're not sure whether to risk a parry, just dodge and live to fight another turn.

You can practice dodging early in the game during friendly duels, so take advantage before things get serious.
