Right before an enemy attack connects:
PC - Press E
PS5 - Press R1

What is a Perfect Parry
A regular parry will block damage. But a Perfect Parry — timed at the exact moment the hit lands — gives you 1 AP and opens the enemy up for counterattacks. It’s risky, but when done right, it feels like you own the battlefield.
Parrying shines against enemies with predictable swings or long attack animations. Just don’t get greedy—if you miss the timing, you’re eating dirt.
Practice near Expedition Flags so you can recover easily while learning enemy patterns. The more you parry, the less you'll rely on healing items.
