How to Edit Your Character in Mecha BREAK
Written by Tyler Harris
You can edit your character in Mecha BREAK by going to the Pilots menu, but full changes are limited unless you spend currency.
After picking your original pilot, you’re locked into that character’s gender unless you pay. However, you can still edit most of their appearance for free, including face, hair, and body.
Where to Edit Your Character
Open Striker Bay
Start from the main menu and go to Striker Bay.
Choose the Pilots tab
Select Pilots to view your current character.
Click Edit
Next to your current pilot, click the Edit button. Then scroll to the bottom and click Edit Preset.
Customize Appearance
Inside the Edit Preset screen, choose Style. Here you can change:
• Face
• Hair
• Makeup
• Body Type
Tattoos and outfits are also listed, but most of them require Corite or event rewards.
Unlocking More Presets or Changing Gender
To get a new character preset slot, you’ll need 2,000 Mission Tokens. This lets you save a second design, but doesn’t replace your main pilot.
If you want a completely new pilot of the opposite gender, you have to pay 680 Corite, which is a premium currency. There’s no free way to swap gender after your first choice.
Free Outfit Options
You can earn a few free cosmetics like a beret and uniform by completing tasks in the Ace Conquest welcome event. These are limited but can help change up your look without spending anything.
Final Blurb
You can freely edit your pilot’s face, hair, and body in Mecha BREAK, but anything beyond that costs currency. Changing gender or unlocking a second preset isn’t free.
Make your first pick carefully.
