Getting your car stuck in Schedule 1 is practically a rite of passage. Whether it’s wedged in some stairs or belly-up behind a dumpster, the game doesn’t exactly throw you a rescue rope—but there is a way to fix it without buying a new car.

Here’s how to get your car unstuck your vehicle and get back to your regularly scheduled dealing.

Step 1: Visit the Mechanic

Head to the Auto Body Shop near Hyland Auto, right across from the car dealership. You’ll find the mechanic NPC inside the garage.

If you don’t know the spot:

  • It’s in the same plaza as Gas Mart, near Taco Ticklers and Ray’s Realty

  • Look for the garage across from the place you buy cars

Step 2: Talk to the Mechanic

When you speak to the mechanic, you should see a dialogue option to teleport your vehicle. This brings your car back to the garage entrance, no charge.

Important:
If you're not seeing the option, make sure:

  • You actually own a vehicle

  • The vehicle is not already parked or considered “in use”

  • You’ve progressed past the intro/tutorial

What If the Mechanic Doesn’t Work?

If for some reason teleport option isn’t showing up:

  • Try restarting the game

  • Make sure your car isn’t parked upside down (in which case, you can also try flipping it using A or D while in the driver’s seat)

  • Confirm that you’re at the right garage—Hyland Auto, not just any random building

Bonus Tip: Character Also Stuck?

Open the pause menu, then click “I’m Stuck”. This will teleport your character to a nearby safe location. Then you can run back to the mechanic and recover the car manually.

Final Blurb

It’s not the fanciest recovery system, but it works—and it’s free. Until they add a tow truck feature or, you know, working physics, the mechanic is your best friend when your wheels go rogue.
